About me

Hi, and welcome to my store.

My name is Ross Tucker, and I am the owner, designer, builder, secretary and cleaner for TuckerCraft ltd. My passion for being creative and woodworking started at an early age when I studied drawing and woodwork at school back in the 80's. Post college I did an apprenticeship in cabinetmaking with two Danish craftsman and learnt to make grandfather clocks, dining suites and many other woodworking skills. Alongside that I studied Architecture at night school and after graduating with an advance trade certificate I ventured outside to work with local builders to gain the skills required to build my own home and expand my expertise.

Now some 40 years on I'm still enjoying my trade and need no invitation to head out to my shed and create something unique and bespoke for my clients. Recently, a range of designer end grain chopping boards and platter boards for those who appreciate and want the very best of something different, something organic, a handcrafted piece of functioning art to enhance not only the kitchen aesthetic but your cooking and serving experience as well.  

Everything is made by my own hands, so whether it's 500 plus hours to create a unique bar with timber that was felled and milled on the property, or 10 hours creating an artistic board to enhance your lifestyle, I take great pride in making sure that if it has the TuckerCraft label on it, it is built to the absolute best of my ability.
